Halon Disposal LyonTech Engineering Ltd has an exemption from waste management regulations for Halon 1211, Halon 1301, HFC227ea (FM200), Novec 1230. Our Environment Agency number is WW1/E/LYO001. Halons & HFC's are classified as controlled wastes under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005 and as such their disposal has to be documented using a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note LyonTech Engineering Ltd is registered with the Environment Agency as a Top Tier waste carrier. Our registration no. is CBDU7675. Upon collection we will provide a Hazardous waste transfer note, this document is required to record the transfer from the producer to the waste manager and this is your proof of proper disposal. Decommissioning We can attend site and our F-gas approved engineers can safely decommission all gaseous agents making safe for transport & disposal. Purity Testing by Gas Chromatography Product quality testing to ISO 7201 Purification of Contaminated Gasses LyonTech Engineering can remove chemicals that have contaminated your gaseous fire suppressants and restore the fire suppressant back to it's original condition, whether ISO, ASTM or US Mil spec standards. Refilling of Discharged Systems We can attend site remove empty cylinders and remove to our works for refilling. We can generally offer a 3-day turnaround. Supply of Halons, HFC227ea (FM200), FK5-1-12 (Novec 1230), FE25, CO2, IG100 (Nitrogen),IG01 (Argon), IG55 (Argonite), IG541 (Inergen) & Water. All the above gasses can be supplied from stock and usually on a next day despatch anywhere in the UK/Worldwide and all at competitive prices. These gasses are sold in cylinders for our clients to use for refilling their extinguishers or we can do the full service including 10 year hydro test, cylinder refurbishment and refilling. We stock cylinders from all manufacturers to enable a cylinder exchange service and avoiding system downtime and the expense of additional engineering site attendance. Pressure Testing & Refurbishing We can pressure test all types of cylinders either following a discharge or as part of a 10 year periodic maintenance programme where we can also refurbish cylinders. Project Management We can manage projects for you where your own resources become stretched. Fire Extinguishers Our company stores and sells a wide range of extinguishers. Full range of extinguishers - Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Foam, Water, Powder, Fire Blankets, Wet Chemical and Specialist Powder. Fire Safety signage Standard and luminescent, contact us for details. Fire Risk Assessments These are legal requirements placed upon all organisations by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005. We undertake Fire Risk Assessments which are produced to meet the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005 at your premises. Fire Detection Systems Removal of detection systems, Replacement and upgrade of systems, all of which are carried out by fully qualified engineers and installations certified. Destruction LyonTech Engineering provides options for disposal of all ODS material, including Halons, CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs.
